The addition of a second butler was purely to keep up with Tezuka in part a move by my mother to secure a servant in the capacity of bodyguard. You cannot be everywhere, after all. The second reason was that I require your attentions to be partially elsewhere for the next few weeks. In particular, I desire you to train and care for this dog:

He has recently become homeless and, with the animal shelters under added pressure, it made perfect sense to take him. I trust he will prove to be an excellent guard dog and I leave him in your care.

Unfortunately, quarantine regulations completely prevent this, unless you plan to have the dog there for eight months. You will have to wait until Yukimura brings their pooch to Tokyo.
